Rafael "Tetêco" has been a resident of RPPN Alto da Figueira for many years, carrying on the work of his father, who worked with the former owners of the reserve. He knows the reserve and the region like few others and there is no difficult or complicated task for him. Tetêco is incredibly talented at building or repairing any project. He also often accompanies researchers and visitors on hikes and experiments. He tackles all his tasks with a big smile on his face and a positive attitude. 

Role at ARAÇÁ: Trail guide, buildings, trails and roads maintenance.
