RHIAN SMITH
Senior Science Editor / Research Coordinator
Rhian holds a BSc in Ecology and Environmental Management, a PhD in plant conservation genetics, and is an experienced field biologist. She is specialized in plant conservation genetics and the evolution of the family Haemodoraceae, as well as science communication and education. She is based at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where she is Senior Science Editor & Coordinator, working on flagship reports and coordinating the research programme of the Director of Science – Professor Alexandre Antonelli.
Role at ARAÇÁ: Rhian is committed to applying her research coordination and scientific editing skills and knowledge to facilitate ARAÇÁ's vision and aims.
